About

Hi, and welcome to Weekend Woodcrafter!

This whole thing started pretty simply: me, a weekend, and a love for making things out of wood. Over time, what began as a hobby turned into a way to share my projects and ideas with other people who enjoy creating just as much as I do.

I’ve always believed there’s something special about working with your hands. Every piece of wood has its own personality — the grain, the texture, the way it feels after sanding and finishing. It’s almost like each project tells its own little story. That’s what I try to capture in everything I make, whether it’s a pet memorial, a seasonal ornament, or a digital pattern you can download and use in your own shop.

What You’ll Find Here

Right now, Weekend Woodcrafter is still pretty small, but it’s growing all the time. Everything on this site is digital and ready to make:

  • Laser files (SVG) that import cleanly.
  • Scroll saw patterns (print-ready PDFs at 100%).
  • Larger cutouts for jigsaws when noted.

All files are maker-tested and designed to be straightforward, so you spend less time fiddling and more time building.

The Heart Behind It

This isn’t about mass production — it’s about quality, creativity, and projects that actually mean something. I want the patterns you download to feel personal and usable, with clear layouts and smart details that make your build smoother. No finished products are sold here — you make the finished piece, and that’s the point.

I know what it’s like to be a weekend maker, sneaking time into the garage whenever you can. My hope is that Weekend Woodcrafter feels like a place that gives you a nudge, a plan, and the confidence to get started.

What’s Next

Right now the “store shelves” aren’t packed full yet, but that’s okay — I’d rather grow this little by little with the right kind of products than just throw anything up here. Over time you’ll see more patterns — laser-ready SVG/DXF files, print-ready scroll-saw PDFs, and the occasional larger jigsaw cutout — covering seasonal décor, gifts, and everyday organizers.

So whether you’re here to grab a project, look for ideas, or just follow along, I’m glad you found your way here.

Thanks for being part of the journey. And remember — weekends are for creating.
